This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Fine Dining and Us

My husband and I had our anniversary on Sunday. I surprised him by taking him to a nice restaurant in Beverly Hills. We had such a nice time.
After dinner we walked out and gave the valet our ticket. As we waited for our car, I watched 3 Mercedes, 2 Beemers, and Escalade pull up. Right behind those fancy cars is our dirty, fly encrusted mini van!!!
Not only is it filthy on the outside but it is trashed on the inside. The man politely opens my door and there sits 2 soda cups, straw wrappers, a sippy cup, Sunday school papers, a sock, and a diaper (a clean one!). That was just my side!! I was so embarrassed.
My Fine dining bubble was popped under the wheels of our ride!

I should have planned to borrow my dad's Corvette or even my friends clean Mini Van.

Awww... your sixth anniversary!!!Wow, it just does not seem that long ago! Remember when Matt and I took you guys on your first date? Where was it... Bucca da Beppo? Then we went for pie at Saugus Cafe, and then snuck into Sunshine after-hours and played card games and mancala, right? Was that all in the same night? We already knew you two were perfect for eachother. :)
Cute blog, by the way. Now Matt's saying I have to start one to share all of the CRAZY horrible things are boys do everyday (I'm sure you'll agree, brothers a year apart should be outlawed!)
Oh, and I can totally relate to the disaster minivan. ;)
