This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Our new dog!

I have been asking for a dog since we got married (almost 6 years now). My husband fell in love with an Old English Sheepdog that our neighbors has so he said we could get one!! I was so excited!! I felt like a little girl going to Disneyland!
He arrived last night. Darry had to go pick him up at the airport. I called Darry every 30 minutes to find out how close he was to being home with our new puppy. Finally they arrived. I opened the door with the kids to meet the new puppy and he was sooooo scared. (I don't blame him.) Anyway he was glued to Darry's side. Anywhere Darry walked the dog went. I was calling him bending down, had my happy voice going, and nothing. I got nothing from the dog.
You know what I did get? A pee puddle to slip and fall in!!
It was like being pregnant for 10 months, going through labor, nursing the baby all night long, loving and caring all day for the kid and his first word is "daddy".

He is cute enough that I don't mind!!

He's so darn cute! Can't wait to meet him...hey no worries...he's attached to Darry right now but he'll learn to love the hand that's feeding him & wiping up his puddles *wink*
