This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Stains

I'm sticking to the laundry theme since I can't get a handle on it...mentally!!

I folded 5 loads of various clothes the other day. Can you guess what was NOT stained or worn out?
I folded hubby's work clothes-- stained stained stained!!
I folded daughter's new church dress-- stained with self portrait permanent yellow marker!!
I folded boys play clothes-- of course they are stained, that's how I bought them!
I folded MY shirts-- stained from cooking, snotty noses, dirty hands, food, park day, etc.

The only thing that was NOT stained. Are you ready for this?
The baby's bibs! The one item that is meant to catch all the stains.
I couldn't believe it! So you might see me wearing a blue polka dotted bib around, it just happens to be the nicest thing I own!

Irony of ironies. :)

I just finished re-vamping our wardrobes so there are not as many stains, but it was shocking to me just how many there were!

Ha Ha Ha...I love your blog! I came across it through Jessica and Corinne. Thanks for the great laughs and intriguing questions.

I have tried to avoid extra stains by feeding the baby in just a diaper...red sauce stains baby skin!!! My advice is take off your glasses and you'll never see the stains! LD
