This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

We're home!

After 20 hours up there. (straight through-- I do not suggest that.)
2 days to drive home. (We stopped in Sacramento)
6 stops on the side of the road to go potty. (Right after we just left the restaurant.)
10 movies.
6 meals of fast food.
35 minutes of detour because I took the wrong freeway.
15 color wonder markers. (only 8 have caps now)
5 color wonder books.
4 gas station restrooms.
4 snack bags of gold fish.
10 lollipops.
4 cups of coffee.
3 Pepsi's.
8 days of missing my husband.
4 sermons on tape.
1 book read out loud by my mom.
And 1 "Do you want me to pull this car over?"

WE ARE HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time with my sister and her family. It was worth it. (That doesn't mean I will do it any time soon though!!)

I think you could sing this blog to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas"...
10 movies watching
6 Fast Foods eating
35 Minute Detour...
...and 1 "Do you want me to pull this car over!!" :o)

your mom has a terrific idea...I'd run with it and give them out as Christmas gifts...only you never mentioned how many barf bags, but that might be a good thing to leave out anyway!!! LD
