This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Consider your options

Do you think straight in the middle of the night? I don't.

My dear darling son came in at 12:30AM to sleep with me. I was fine with it until I heard him throwing up ON MY PILLOW!!! I quickly grabbed him out of bed and took him to the toilet. Not wanting to wake up my husband, who had been sick the previous day, I didn't turn the bathroom light on. As I realized that my son didn't quite grasp the concept of getting it IN the toilet I turned the light on. WOW! I wrong for thinking he could do this in the dark. No longer too concerned for my sleeping husband I turned the bath on, got my son in the tub, and started scrubbing the floors, seat, and walls, strip the bed sheets, and start a load of laundry.

I learned a huge lesson last night: Always send the kids around to daddy's side.

I've tried that...it never seems to work (sending over to Daddy)

At least your bathroom is clean, right?

Amen to that concept! They never seem to grasp it though...

Train them from birth to automatically go to Daddy's side and if that doesn't work, use the optical course trick !!! By the way how BIG is your can of Lysol ?

This is a REALLY good reason to wait until morning to give that bathroom a good scrubbing!
