This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Elevator 101

I had took all 4 kids with me to the Dr. It was a quick check of Cooper's TB test. No problem. I wasn't worried. Everything was fine UNTIL.....
We got off the elevator. Well almost all of us did. Aidan thought it was neat to walk slowly through the closing doors to see what would happen. Now he knows... they close!!!
I'm standing in the lobby with 3 of the 4 kids while the elevator takes my 4th kid up 3 floors. I wait hoping he isn't freaking out and will stay in the elevator. I'm not sure how many times I pushed the button. Finally, it's on the way down.
Cooper is excited to see Aidan come through the door! "Here he comes!" Ding. Four adults, no kid. My heart is racing just a tad faster now. The adults told me he got off on the 3rd floor with a lady. OK. Here we go up! Three floors up and no Aidan. "Oh, he went down," says a man. OK, here we go down! Three floors down and there he is waiting in the lobby with a lady. I gave him a quick lesson on first time listening and then a big hug!
"I miss you in the elevator, mom" he said.

**Hee hee, oh what an experience... what's great about the whole thing is that he wasn't terrified and emotionally damaged for a few... at least we think, right? Well let's see if he steps in another elevator again. LOL

This happened to me at the Natural History Museum - only I could still HEAR Ava while I was in the elevator going to the second floor - SCREAMING until we got back to the first floor where a dear elderly woman had her by the hand. Praise God for His help!
