This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

I am a Survivor

I attempted the unthinkable today... I ran 2 errands with all four kids! The first stop took longer to get the kids out of the car and into the stroller than the actual errand. The second stop was strategic. I went to Wal-Mart. My hope was there would be other children screaming louder than mine and making more of a scene than the little people I had in my cart.
Just walking into the store brought a few looks. I had Eli in the pack, Molly in the cart seat, Cooper in the basket, and Aidan hanging on the front. This is what I heard as I strolled the aisles:
* Cooper persistently yelling out to me saying, "I not get a spanking, I not get a spanking, right mom?"
* A sweet older lady stopped and said, "Oh my! Are these all yours? You're a crazy lady."
* Another mom looked and said, "Wow, Wow, Wow!"
* We forgot a bag at the counter and a lady kindly brought it to us after she checked out. She said, "It wasn't hard to find you in the parking lot with all those kids."
In the end we weren't the loudest customers but we did make a scene.
