This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

How Many?

Here is a little quiz about life as a mother:

1. How many times do you boil water to actually make the mac-n-cheese? 4
2. How many times do you reheat your cup of coffee? 4 before you pour it down the sink at lunchtime.
3. How many diapers do you change? 10+
4. How many times do you get to go to the bathroom? Once (but not always by yourself!!)
5. How many times do you change your newborn's clothes? 5 (3 for spit up and 2 for poops)
6. How many rolls of toilet paper do you go through in a day? 1 per toilet trained toddler!
7. How many army men can fit on the entertainment unit? The whole bucket!

I often wondered why my toilet paper was disappearing so quickly...it could be the 3 children in my house? hmmmmmm

I can completely identify with the astounding number of diapers and how many times you change Eli's clothes. Emma goes through about 5 outfits a day. I'm wondering, though, how many times do YOU have to change your clothes?

I am sure Cathy doesn't wear clothes - just PJs. At this stage of the baby game, brushing your own teeth is a major accomplishment. LeighAnn

My friend has 5 kids, 7 yrs and under. Last week her husband came home at 5:30 pm to a cranky 2 yr. old only to discover, her diaper hadn't been changed since 7:30 am!
Don't panic, my friend did change her newborn' s diaper. LeighAnn
