This is my Season.

"I know that there is nothing better for [me] than to rejoice and to do good in [my] lifetime; moreover that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-- it is the gift of God."

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Happy Saturday

5:30am Cooper arrives in bed with me. I take him back to his bed.
6:00am Eli cries because he rolled over and doesn't know what to do. I flip him like a pancake.
6:15am Cooper comes back to my bed and stays this time.
6:45am Cooper decides he his the alarm clock this morning. I push snooze.
7:00am I get up with Cooper. Eli is awake and crying which wakes Molly up. I grab Eli in one arm and Molly in the other.
7:03am I let the dog out. (We are dog sitting this weekend). I start the oven for cinnamon rolls.
7:05 am Cooper comes running to me crying because he has poop on his foot. (Which is now on the carpet)
7:06am I find a MOUND of dog poop by the back door. I set Eli in his swing and tell Molly and Cooper not to move.
7:07am I gag.
7:10am I go out to the laundry to start the blankets that have been contaminated.
7:15am I come back in to put the cinnamon rolls in the oven and realize Cooper and molly are not in their spots.
7:17am Find Cooper and Molly at the next door neighbors trash can. (With DVD remote in hand!!)
7:20am Heat up coffee and finish making breakfast.
7:45am Nurse Eli who has been patiently waiting for me in the swing. Aidan wakes up.
8:00am Darry wakes up and I tell him my story.
8:03am We both realize the dog is NOT in the backyard.
8:10am I find the dog three doors down. Darry finds the hole in our fence.
8:15am Warm up breakfast.
8:20am Change Eli and find poop all up to his chest. Start the bath.
8:30am Warm breakfast up AGAIN and eat.

Oh Cathy!
I actually WAS awake, Charis and I walked to the bagel shop around the corner to get some breakfast for us and our house guests. If you come to stay I'll gladly walk to get you some bagels!

Okay Cathy, As another mom of 4 (not in 4 yrs.), this does sound strangely like reality (scarey, but true!) I am usually awake at that time, but now that I read your QOTD, I am exhausted (with laughter!) LeighAnn
